considering converting a wardrobe into a viv?

so basicly what im interested in finding out is the temperature. and any cool ideas. will be having as coastal carpet python which are semi-arboreal. gonna be bout 5 ft high with shelving and long sticks to clim and bask up. what types of stick are best? any ideas very welcome
