What cleaner to wash kitchen cabinets with before painting them?

i am going to be painting my kitchen cabinets but need to wash them first. what popular cleaner can i use to properly clean my cabinets before painting? thanks in advance!

1. I like to use a degreaser (the one from Costco in the big jug is what I use) and mix it wit water. Use probably about 1/4 cup to a gallon of water. It is very strong and if you use it directly it will peel paint off walls. Take a blade and scrape the gunk out of all the crevices in the cabinets to get a cleaner look. Also try and use a roller as much as possible so you don't get the paintbrush streaks. Good luck!
