How do I make stinky kitchen cabinets non-stinky?
i have brand new solid wood kitchen cabinets that was installed about a month ago. prob is, they're stinky. my guess is, from the solvents used to bind the wood together. i've already tried leaving baking soda inside the cabinets for 2 weeks to no avail. i'm at my wit's end here and can't stand the stinkies anymore. help please!

- sponge it down
- Moth balls it will absorb the odor, then wash down with white vinegar
- its the stain. give it about another week and it wont stink. if you cant wait that long then dust them with some pledge...smells like lemons
- Spray some vinegar inside them and turn a fan on to dry it.Once the fan dries it the smell will be gone.
- I would wipe them down with white vinegar. Vinegar is a great deodorizer and the vinegar smell dissipates as it dries.
- well i was gonna say baking soda wash but i see what u mean now! vinegar cann be helpful. dont useBLEACH OR BLEACH PRODUCTS and do not USE any COMBINATION OF BLEACH AND AMMONIA!! tHIS CAN kill YOU! Im serious. just stay away from bleach here cuz it can ruin the finish on the cabinets and DEGREASERS will too! Wash in a vinegar soulution or just plain vinegar alone. Try a GOOD air freshener next but get a good brand. Cheap ones aint worth diddly squat! Just be carful and open a window if needed. Your lungs are more important and strong soulutions can hrm them. (cleansers) I wish i knew exactly what to say but i iknow vinegar is good for odors.
- Try cat litter (in a stocking) it absorbs odors and moisture like thousands of tiny sponges. It's Environmentally friendly, biodegradable, chemical free.
- The new cabinet smell. People would love if their kitchen smelled like that.
