What color kitchen cabinets would look good with steely gray walls?

I have decided to paint my kitchen walls a steely gray color and I also plan on sanding down and refinishing the cabinets. I was going to refinish them in a dark cherry but I am not sure if they would compliment the steely gray?? What color would you suggest? Floor and countertops are still undecided. We are completely regutting our kitchen

1. i think they should be silver its better trust me.
2. that sounds kind of gothic to be honest. kind of a spin off of the red-black-white thing that is so overdone now. do you have any colors in the counters or floor that you could bring back into the cabinets; dark greens, navy, anything?
3. A crisp white will always look good with the gray color walls. It gives you plenty of freedom of choice in accent colors and that won't clash but pop against the neutral gray and white: any one like bright lime green, purple or lavender,or yellow or different shades of blue.
4. I think a dark cherry and steely gray would go fantastically together!
