Free Standing Shelving

I'm getting my room painted but have no idea what colour. help please (girl teen)?

im painting my room as were decorating our whole house. my room is small , rectangle and is about the size of a double bed (i have a single) and it has an indent in the wall were built in shelving was , but i'm turning it into a seating area. I allready have furniture , i have a large mirrored door wardrobe , and a sliver metal bed. i also have a small pull down desk and a bright pink chair. i am not alloud white in the room as it will get dirty easily and not alloud wallpaper as it is too much "hassle". I have thought about having one wall brown with pink stenciled birds on the wall to tie in with the pink , but im not sure what to paint the other three walls and the indent. Or anyother paint idea's that include pink , but not too much pink as i am 15. thank you ALOT xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx i would also like a duvet cover that could match from a UK store (links would be great!) and i'm not alloud any new ferniture. ta.

2. if you have a small room, i suggest bright or pastel colors to lighten it up, and to make it appear bigger, so if you want to match it with pink maybe a bright blue (that is a very nice combo) or you could do a bright orange, to go with the pink, or maybe a lime green, and with all of these colors you can still stencil the pink birds... but stay away from brown, black, navy blue, reds, darker greens, etc. because they will make your room appear smaller and more cramped hope i helped<333
3. What about a cream colour or something like saffron or cinnamon this will tie in with the brown these are light colours (I would suggest using a light colour so your room is not too overpoweringly dark) erm how about like a pastel pink or a magenta colour as these look girly but not too childish and give the feel of a chic teenage room, you could also google chic bedroom ideas or teen bedroom ideas, I have for my new room and have decided on a Indian/Middle Eastern theme :) Good Luck with deciding
4. if you wanted to use your idea where one wall was brown with pink stenciled birds, the birds could be bright pink and the other three wall could be a lighter pink.
