Im redoing my room and i am needing some dvie on colours. So someone with taste nd style would b good...?
Rihgt im 14 and two years ago i had my bedroom done pink and purple and quite frankly i am sick of it and i cannot stand it anymore (so much changes over two years) any way i have to say my room is tiny and is like an 'L' shape room so i cant hav any colour to dark or anything to in your face (like bright pink for instance) any way i have sandy colour furniture with a big wardrobe inthe coner and a kinda half bunk bed with a desk and shelving underneth. I need an i dea on what colours should i have. My mums said cream colour everything but i think thats too bland. I had a vision o mint green walls, chocoate brown carpet and then cream accesories (like cousions and lamp...) any other idea? Do you thinkthat would look okaii?

- Hm..... I think for a 14 year old you should have a nice not girl yet not woman look. Like this: http://www.home-designing.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/cream-colored-bedroom.jpg Do you see how the paintings don't clash the bedding, and the carpet goes with it? How it's a theme, but it still looks nice? So I think Mint green walls would be wonderful. So don't look at the bed stuff but at the wall: http://www.decoration-pic.com/uploads/allimg/2008-12/01164T2-2-124F.jpg It's a nice color, and it ties in with a young, yet teenager look. Then, For carpet I think Chocolate brown is okay, but maybe even a rust or tanish color...like this: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/4224407/2/istockphoto_4224407-high-resolution-rust-color-texture.jpg or... http://brickcitylove.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/hemmet-rug-dark-orange-1491.jpg are more rust than orange. For Tan, you can go dark which would tie the room together on it's own, or light so you can keep the bedding the main attraction. Dark Tan: http://82.165.176.139/Rugs/addimages/Monti%20Rugs/Silk%20Shag/SH%20018Light%20Brown%20549.jpg It's like a brownish, yet it's still warm and mood altering. Lighter Tan: http://www.floormall.com/images/Mohawk/carpet/Wundaweve/California-Concept/legend_tan.jpg And instead of cream, which will be a bunch of quiet, you want it to POP and show! Other colors that you can do are, Periwinkle, Salmon, Tangerine, Silver with a design, and more! The posiblities are ENDLESS and you have to REALLY plan it. So, good luck! Lily
