Small Bedroom Ideas For Teen with Child Mind?
Okay, Im a 17 year old girl, who loves nothing more than little childish stuff. Fair enough I should be asking more mature stuff, but I can't help the way I feel about things - anyway, I want my room to be redesigned and totally ME! I live in a 3bedroomed semi-detached house UK style - and I have the smallest room which can fit a single bed, small wardrobe, a dresser... And that's it. There's a problem I'm having - there's like, a tiny step near my door... and I cant get rid of it b/c it connects to the stairs ¬.¬" And it's EXTREMELY annoying! What I want in my room is a bed, somewhere for my clothing (I actually don't have a lot of clothes for a teen :/) and a desk, or somewhere to put my TV, Wii, BlueRay with all my games, ordiments, books etc. Oh, I do have shelving, those crazy block ones... I know what I mean.. lol Room colours, I don't mind, its magnolia atm with beach furniture... I just want a good layout! Any ideas at all (Preferably if you know what kind of room I'm on about) I need a lot of help!! Lornzie x

- im 16,17 in a month and i literally moved in to the box room a day ago and i used to have the biggest room in the house but i just had to sacrifice stuff ad deal with it i have a divan bed or what ever you call it and i got literally all my stuff under there neatly i have a small one door wardrobe and i have a lot of clothes and they fit and i have a chest of draws tv steel shelves ETC and i just make do its summit you'll have to put up with unfortunately,,,,,,,,, or my best advice is where ever the bed fits with more space move it to that point and work around the bed that's you best Option hope i helped :)
- well if you like childish stuff you should like colourful things right? you should have your walls very colourful, & if you have any teddies or toys put them up on your shelves. & if you have a carpet have it like different (a clolour that stands out) instead of brown or black or something like that. i hope i helped :) x
- http://www.homedepot.com/Storage-Organization-Closet-Storage-Complete-Storage-Systems-Laminate-Wood/Martha-Stewart-Living/h_d1/N-5yc1vZbp93Z4tg/R-202060729/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053 i think this would be good for clothes and tv and stuff in the middle and for the layout have this on the wall opposite the door and have the bed perpendicular to that like this l_l have your bed on one wall and the organize thing on the other so it forms a right angle and maybe you could have a rug in the middle and the dresser on the opposite wall from the bed.
- You might consider getting a loft bed. It is like a bunk bed, but instead of a bed on the bottom it is open so you can put things under it- such as a desk. It also gives the feeling of sleeping in a tree fort or something, which might interest you. You could either put the desk under it, or put the desk on the opposite wall and have seating such as an overstuffed beanbag chair under there and storage of your remotes, games, etc. Instead of a dresser, you might see if a clothing rack is an option for you. They are movable and expandable. Your clothes would be visible, but neatly so. Some have a little "shelf" on the bottom that you could put a bin on to hold things that would not hang on the rack- socks, underclothes, etc. If you want to hide it, you might put a dressing screen/room divider in front of it (it would hide that corner). Some of those screens/dividers have picture frames in them or fancy designs so it could be a part of the decor.
